Remove a background image from your table with just two mouse clicks

A hidden Excel background image can make an entire spreadsheet practically unreadable — yet removing it takes no more than two clicks. Under the Page Layout tab, the Delete Background button in the Page Setup group strips the photo out instantly, restoring clean, legible cell contents without any loss of data. If the button is unavailable, the file contains an inserted image object rather than a true background — simply select it with a mouse click and press Delete to remove it. Either way, the result is a clear spreadsheet where numbers, text, and formulas are fully visible and ready to work with. Save your changes with Ctrl + S and the workbook is permanently restored to its proper, professional state.
