Nils Matthiesen

Nils Matthiesen has been dealing with computers, technology and PC security both professionally and privately for over 30 years now.

His enthusiasm for Windows began during his studies. He gained his first experience in a large German specialist book and magazine publishing house, where he worked as a permanent editor of a PC specialist magazine.

During this time, Nils Matthiesen got to know the entire spectrum of the PC world. He then began his career as a freelance IT journalist, writing for specialist publishers such as Computerwissen. Although – or perhaps because – Nils Matthiesen has been a PC professional for many years, he is always enthusiastic about helping private PC users to have a powerful and secure Internet and computer.

Already a successful part of the specialized publishing house Computerwissen for many years, today he and his colleague Manfred Kratzl are in charge of the popular guidebook “Windows knowledge” as editor-in-chief. Nils Matthiesen solves users’ Windows problems in a targeted and easy-to-understand way and helps them to get the most out of the operating system on their PC.

Quote:Even though I’m already an old PC hand, the new developments never cease to excite me!
